Coyoacán de mi cora: What to do on the day of the dead?

Coyoacán has a beautiful way of reminding us every year that it is the ideal place to celebrate a special day for most Mexicans: the "Day of the Dead", without a doubt a Mexican tradition to commemorate and appreciate.

In one of the most emotional celebrations to remember all our loved ones who are no longer with us, Coyoacán is the one to visit, because every year it offers endless activities to spend these dates.

In its small center, in addition to observing its emblematic Cathedral, you can find monumental offerings, altars, people dressed as catrinas, skulls or some horror characters.

As if that were not enough, here the food is glorious, you can find the traditional “Pan de Muerto”, a sweet bread usually accompanied with a hot chocolate cup. Also you can find Esquites or Elotes (Corn), churros, sugar skulls, chocolate, piloncillo, tamales and more Mexican snacks.

Enjoy an incredible time with and celebrate the beloved Mexican tradition!
